Physiotherapist for the Neuro and Brain Injury Team, Adult RehabilitationJob Responsibilities

As a physiotherapist in the neuro and brain injury team, you will have a broad and varied field of work and become part of a team consisting of occupational therapists, psychologists, social workers, and speech therapists. The team has access to a neurologist for consultation on medical issues when needed. You will work directly with patients and their relatives, as well as indirectly with the network through consultative work. You will meet patients at our clinics, during home visits, and at their workplaces. You will closely collaborate with occupational therapists regarding complex seating interventions. When necessary, you will refer to Orthopedic Technology or other specialist units and may accompany the patient there.

You may have advisory discussions about healthy lifestyle habits and also provide advice and support to find ways to increase the patient's activity level. You will independently plan your work in close collaboration with your entire team, based at Karlahuset in Örebro, covering our county areas. You will carry out interventions alone or together with other professionals from the team.

You will be offered a mentor and participate in physiotherapists' professional meetings every month.
